A Very Special Donation

This past June, our Auxiliary received a very generous donation from the family of one of our beloved members, who had passed away. The Auxiliary BoardĀ asked CEO Tom Hayes what item of equipment, essential for patient care, is most needed currently; we didn’t want to wait until the end of the year to put this donation to work. We learned that the hospital’s diagnostic cardiac ultrasound equipment had failed – and, that this machine is essential to the hospital’s operations. At our July meeting, the Board voted to purchase a new echocardiogram machine, which will produce high quality digital pictures of the size, structure, and movement, of various parts of the heart. We want to thank our anonymous donor for making the purchase of this vital piece of equipment possible.
